PUSA CHETKI:
Suitable for March to August end otherwise can be grown year round as per climatic conditions . A cyllindrical variety with pure white, smooth,soft textured,sweet in taste,4-6 inches long roots without green shoulders . Matures in 30-35 days from sowing.
 
       
 
 
 
 
 
   
DURGESH LONG CHETKI:
Suitable for off season sowing i.e.March to August end otherwise can be grown year round as per climatic conditions expect at bol- ting time i.e. December-January.Roots longer than Pusa Chetki i.e. 8-10 inches long,cyllind- rical as well as semi cyllindrical in shape,thin at neck,smooth,pure white without any green shoulders,as sweet as Pusa Chetki. SUMMER QUEEN:
Highly successful in summer and rainy season i.e. from March to October.Leaves almost identical to Pusa Chetki but roots are tapering, 10-12 inches long,very smooth,sleek, attractive and pure white in colour.

Matures after 40-45 days from sowing.Suitable for March to October sowing.Roots pure white in colour and no green shoulders,tapering in shape,10-12 inches long,slightly pungent.
 
         
     
FORTY DAYS:
Highly tolerant to hot and humit conditions. Recommended for May -November sowing. Roots 10-12 inches long,smooth,tapering , sleek and very attractive extra white roots, without much of hairs on surface,sweet in taste.
 
         
     
D.C. WHITE:
Best for growing in spring summer. Roots straight and tapering,pure white, 12-15 inches long.Matures in 45-50 days after sowing. Highly successful at higher temperature.
 
         
     
HILL QUEEN:
Recommended for September to November sowing.Roots 12-15 inches long, pure white,smooth,sweet in taste without much of hair on root surface. Roots are tapering cum semi cyllindrical at bottam at maturity.Matures in 45-50 days after sowing.
 
         
     
PUSA RESHMI:
Main season variety sown from 1st September - end November.Roots are 12-14 inches long,tap- ering,white with green shoulders and mildly pungent.Matures in 45-50 days after sowing.
 
         
     
MEENO EARLY:
Early variety which matures in 45-50 days. Recommended for Ist May to December end sowing.Roots 12-15 inches long , pure white straight tapering in shape.Excellent keeping quality and can be kept for longer period in fields.
 
         
     
ALL SEASON:
Highly sucessful all the year round except bolting time i.e.January to February.Lesser and shorter leaves in comparison to other varieties which permits thicker sowing and ultimately contributes towards higher yield. BOMBAY RED:
Roots thin,longer and tapering in shape.Upper half portion is red and lower half portion is white in colour.Suitable for June-November sowing which matures in 40-45 days after sowing.
 
         
     
BOMBAY HALF RED:
Papular in Eastern parts of country. Commonly known as Khasi Katta or Gujrati Red Radish.Roots 10-12 inches long, thicker from top while lower portion is tapering.Upper 25% of root portion is pinkish red and lower 75 % is white. Matures in 40-45 days. Leaves are most commonly used for culinary purpose which are broader,more in number and dark green in colour.
 
         
     
   
JAPNESE WHITE:
Suitable for September- November sowing. Roots 10-12 inches long,cyllindrical blunt at tip, smooth,pure white flesh,mildly pungent Matures in 45-50 days from sowing.
 
         
     
   
HIM SHIKHA:
Late season variety recommended for November -February sowing.Leaves half the number of other varieties which accomodates more plants per unit area resulting in higher yield.Roots attractive,10-12 inches long,smooth,pure white, tender,very crisp,slightly pungent,tapering in shape and very late bolting i.e. in April-May. Roots matures in 40-45 days
 
         
     
PUSA HIMANI:
Suitable for December to February sowing in North India.Late bolting i.e.April - May.Roots longer i.e. 12 inches long,tapering,pure white with slightly whitish green shoulders,pungent and crispy.
